I need a data vault to share files to other people

never used dropbox.  I need to setup a data vault for a M & A deal to share files.  Probably 10 individuals need access to the files.  Which plan do I need?

Hi billwh, thanks for messaging the Community!

How large are the files you're trying to share with others?

Will they need edit access to the files as well?

This will help me to assist further!

Not sure of the file size. No edit of the files. But multiple people will be uploading for files for everyone to see.

If the files in total would be less than 2 GB, then you should be able to do this on a free Basic plan with Dropbox.

Do you want the other users to have their own Dropbox account to upload files into a shared folder, or will you need only one account to which everyone can upload to?

I think just one account that all parties, maybe 10, can upload files to, no edit, perhaps download the files.

You can create a Dropbox account and then create a file request link, which allows people to upload files to the account, without being able to see other files in the account.

Then you can create a shared link to the same folder, which can be accessed by anyone on the web if they have the link, and that'll allow them to access, view and download the files.
