I need to login and logout on my Android app in order to sync files

Anything I try to sync or upload from my mobile device stays in the queue until I log out and back in. Once I do, I can sync/upload again, but after a short time it stops.

Cache has been cleared, latest updates installed, no locked folders.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how to fix. Thanks!

Hi AG1979, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you manually uploading files or using the camera upload feature?

Could you also clarify what you mean by syncing files in the mobile app?

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any details!

Manually uploading. I meant that when I update files (such as a text file) or try to upload a photo or other file from the mobile app, it stays in the queue and does not upload to my Dropbox (and is therefore not synced/updated on other devices ). I do not have more than 3 devices on my account, but I tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling but the problem persists.

Hey AG1979, let me also jump in here!

Would you mind clarifying your OS, along with the Dropbox version that you have installed on your device?

How long has this been an issue?

One more thing: if you temporarily switch from a WiFi to a cellular connection, do you notice the same behavior?

It is Android (Google Pixel 7), doesn't matter if of data or wifi same issue persists, Dropbox latest version 418.2.2 and it's been happening for about a month. Thanks!

    Thank you for clarifying AG1979

I'd like to ask for a few step-by-step screenshots if it's not too much trouble. They'll help me get a visual too.😇

You should be able to click the camera-like icon when replying back to me, and attach them here.

I'm not sure what screen shots you are looking for. Basically anytime I try to either upload a file or edit/save an existing file, it shows pending uploads and the status is "queud" and it never uploads unless I log out and log back in. Then a few minutes after I log back in, it starts happening again.
