I shared a folder and they can't download it
I shared a folder with someone and they got this error message when they tried to download the folder --
"Not enough space to access folder" Enough space where? On my Dropbox account? On her computer? How can we make this work?

Thanks for the quick repsonse. I just want them to be able to download the files in the folder.
Don't invite them to a shared folder. By doing that, they need a Dropbox account and enough space within their own account to hold the shared folder. Instead, send them a shared link to the folder, which will allow downloads without needing a Dropbox account.

Thanks for the clarification; I apologize for posting that this does not work. ... Should I delete my original post here?
No need for the apology or to delete the post.
I had tried it with a client and they said they needed a Dropbox account to gain access to the files. They may be prompted to sign in or create an account, but it's not required. If they see that dialog it can simply be closed and they can continue on to the file(s).

Hey zovirax, how are you today?
Can you give me some additional info, please? How did you share the folder with them?
Do they get an error when trying to download your content, and if so what type of error?
Keep me posted!

With links like this (there is no sensitive data in the example). they can download the whole folder in zip archive (which is not good if you want to save 5 photos from 500 ๐ ) but they can NOT download single photos or files. And yes, there is an error message:

Seems to be working fine when I try to download a single file.

Hey zovirax, thanks for that!
Do they click Download on the entire folder? Can they try previewing the individual files they want to save, then click on download?

Hi, Megan
they can download the entire folder (zip archive). They can preview the images but when they try to download a single file there is an
"Error (403)
It seems you don't belong here! You should probably sign in. Check out our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home."
So they are unable to download a single file. They try via android phones (not PC) if this is important to know.
Rich can you try this through an android phone to confirm that there is no problem? When i try to download my own photos using incognito tab to not be signed in (via PC and via my android phone), i can download a single file.

I don't have an Android device with me today, but it worked fine downloading a single image in Chrome on an iPhone.
