I shared a folder with an email and that person still cant access it

can someone please tell me why? or how to trouble shoot this? thanks!

    Hi erikasimon20, welcome to our Community! 

     

    I'm going to need a bit more info, in order to look closer into this. 

     

    Do you get any error when trying to access the folder, or do they not get the email at all? 

     

    Did you add the person directly to the shared folder, using these steps?
