Icons no longer showing in Nautilus
I'm using Dropbox on two Ubuntu 22.04 installs and I noticed that the icons which displays the status of my files are no longer present. Only the icon in the top bar is active but my files still synced with my devices. In Linux the package nautilus-dropbox has to be installed to properly been integrated into Nautilus but it used to work fine until now.
More Linux users with the same bug?

Hi allard, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Have you tried reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application to see if this helps with the sync icons on your device?
This will help me to assist further!

Hello,
Yes I reinstalled it but without success. I even removed my icon cache but nothing seems to be helping. I have this on both Ubuntu installs.

Second update:
I fired up two VM's running Ubuntu, one 20.04 and the other 22.04. It seems like when adding your Dropbox account and syncing for the first time the sync icon still works but when Dropbox downloaded all the files and syncing is up to date the icons disappear.

Hey allard, sorry to jump in, but have you made sure your devices are meeting all of the requirements as outlined here?
If they do, could you send us a screenshot of how it looks like on your end so that we can have a visual too?

All my devices meet the requirements and I have a screenshot.

Thanks for all the info allard; it really helps!
Can you also clarify what’s the current syncing status of your Dropbox app, as well as the app version that it’s running on your computer?

Hello, I'm back with great news. The problem is fixed for some reason. I don't know what it was but I recently installed some updates, maybe the problem was something with Nautilus and Ubuntu patched it?
Anyway the problem is now solved.
