I'm trying to drag photos to a shared folder, but they won't get moved

Helo,

 

My brother just passed away and Im trying to transfer his entire dropbox account (documents and photos and everything) to my dropbox account.  Ive read online to try to create a shared folder and drag files to the shared file and then to my dropbox but I try to drag everything and a lot of the photos wont transfer.

 

HELP!

    I’m really sorry to hear about your loss, versatyleDavi.

     

    You’re using the Dropbox website to do this, correct? 

     

    What if you try to move the files to the shared folder you've created instead of dragging them? On the Dropbox website, you can do it this way.

     

    Let me know if I’ve misunderstood, though.

    Hi Davi,

     

    It would help if you could explain a bit more what you mean by the photos won't transfer. Did everything else transfer fine?
