Is there a workaround for files with unsupported characters that don't sync?

Hi I'm aware that there are restriction on windows filepath characters that drop box does allow. I have access to a dropbox which I want to download using the desktop app so that the file modif...

The only option would be to rename those folders to remove the colons so they can sync. Dropbox won't replace the characters.
