Issue with Logic Pro files (.logicx)
I've been working with Dropbox for years. Has always worked well, until now.
Many of my Logic Pro project files (.logicx) are corrupted and they won't sync to my Mac. When I download them through Safari or Chrome, Logic won't open them. This is a problem for me because I work with these files.
What's strange is that some project files appear in the browser, with a folder icon, and others with a file icon. The ones with the file icon are the problem. They don't appear locally on my device. Luckily I have backups, but not of all the most recent versions.
The issue appeared since I joined a Dropbox Business Team. I left the team but the problem remains. I restarted my mac and Dropbox multiple times. Even reinstalled Dropbox. Removed folders and let them sync again... nothing works. Does anyone have advice?

This is the desktop app on 4 different computers.. 2 Mac Minis (one 2012 Intel, one 2022 M1) and 2 MBP, both 2015.
Here is a screen shot of the errors. - Jay2 years ago

Are those files located in a folder with any incompatible characters in the name?
What version of Logic X are you running on your machine? Do other files in the folder sync?
What sync icon do you see on those files in Finder? A screenshot of this would help greatly.

well, the M1 is on Sonoma, the 2012 is on Mojave, and the 2015's are both running Monterey, so I know it's not the OS...
When I click the "View file," it doesn't do anything but go to finder... doesn't open a window or take me to the file... All the sync icons are green and normal, but having this pop up on all of my machines makes me think something is wrong even though it might not be.
as far as characters,.. again, ALL of these files have been sitting here for over a year and have never had a single issue. the file names never get changed, etc... so why would there suddenly be characters that are wrong? they weren't wrong for the last year +..... - Jay2 years ago
