My edits on files are not syncing for the other members

do anyone have any syncing issues with dropbox, i am part of a group with 3 members whenever one of the members saves a file i can see it and it uploads correctly, however when i try to save and upload a file to a certain folder it doesn't load or sync up on anyone else's computer i have tried deleting, reinstalling leaving and re-joining the group but nothing seems to work. does anyone have any help on how to fix this?

thank you

Hey SeanFallon2001, sorry to hear about this.

Can you first check the sync status and version of the Dropbox app on your computer?

You can do so, by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar/system tray.

Also, do the changes you make sync to the account on dropbox.com?

Let me know what you find and we'll go from there.

Does it show up in the folder on dropbox.com, Sean? Or just locally in your Dropbox folder?

    Hmm, that's pretty strange indeed.

To test things out, if you upload a file directly through the website, can your colleague see it both on dropbox.com and locally in their Dropbox folder?

And does it also sync down to your own computer?

Thanks for checking all this, Sean.

Is this a simple shared folder or a team folder?

It's strange that they can't see your uploaded files, even online, that means that you might not all be accessing the same folder, could that be possible?
