No option to save the updated version of file when using the Dropbox badge

So I have tried again on two clean Windows 11 Virtual PCs, new install Office, new install Dropbox, and situation is exactly the same. I have managed to capture a screenshot below of the sync issue clearly stating that file cannot sync until Word closed

    Hey PCBoB , sorry for the delay here. My team has been diving into this issue and identified a bug specifically related to the coordination notification on Windows that aligns with the issue you're describing. We're working on a fix for it as our highest priority and appreciate your patience!
