Not receiving email notifications for files added to shared folders

We created a shared folder but no one seems to be getting email notficiations when files are added to the folder...

I am told to go to setting, and under notifications, to check the box.. but nothing.. all i see at the bottom is : Your team admin has disabled some email notifications. But i am the admin... so i do not understand..

Hey DavidNeedsHelp, welcome to our Community!

When it comes to email notifications, the only email that the folder members will receive, is a weekly digest one regarding updates on the folder.

If you want to receive an email notification each time a file is added, you can ask your folder members to follow the folder.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you need anything else.
