Open dropbox link in the application for that file (open .xlsx files in Excel)
My colleagues and I often need to email each other with links to dropbox files that we collaborate on. I would like to be able to send a colleague a link to a file in a shared folder, to which we both have access, and have them be able to open the file in the native program (e.g., if it's an Excel file, when they click the link, it opens in Excel, not in a web browser). Is that possible?

Thanks Jay! Is there a setting I can change where the default is not to open the link with the browser? Microsoft Teams had this capability as an option for how to open files and it was really helpful.

At this time, there isn't any option to have the link open directly in the application itself. As they are a URL, they will always open on the website.
