Photos uploaded do not show up in the Photos tab

Hi there. I uploaded a bunch of photos and videos when i was on the main Dropbox home page on Windows.

I wanted them to show under the 'photos' tab, but they are all showing as files on the main home page.

Please can you help to explain what am i doing wrong?

And what is the correct way to upload photos manually from my computer - so that they should show within the timeline on the photos tab.

Thanks!

  • I'm afraid they cannot only appear in the photos tab, yd19.

Since they are uploaded in your account, they'll appear in the All files page online and the Files tab in the app.

You could create a folder, though, to move them into, if you want.

    Hi,

This does not answer my question as the photos are showing as files under their appropriate folder but are not showing in PHOTOs. If I go to an IPAD or IPhone then i can see them under PHOTOs (and the files are obviously in their folders.)

Hey cisco_sanj, when were the photos uploaded to your Dropbox account?

And do you see the same thing on other browsers as well?

Yes - i've tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge. All have some photos missing in the Photos tab.

    Thanks,
