Prompt to ask to join team when I'm sharing a folder with someone. Why?

Apparently there is a setting to turn this off now. Support made absolutely no mention of it, and rather said "users cannot invite themselves". Well if that's true then why is there an "ask to join" button for people viewing shared folders??? This is a HORRIBLE feature. dwcreative13 nailed it. Glad we can turn it off now, with no thanks to or mention of this from dropbox support.
Settings > Membership > Requests to Join the Team
Toggle OFF
Save Changes
(Side Note, this discussion forum is so terrible that you can't even share a dropbox link of the screenshot that would help it's users. Thanks for nothing once again dropbox. Your own forum doesn't allow your own platform's links? Brilliant)
