Right click 'copy dropbox link' not working
I have recently gone through the difficult jounrey of transferring to a new latop... however, the process was remarkably smooth as all files are on dropbox!
I am having a problem though.

6 years agoCould you expand the screenshot to show the entire window of the file you’re right clicking?
Do the files have the Dropbox syncing icons on all of them? Thanks!

All the files are in Dropbox and have the little green tick on them. It’s odd

Can you try accessing the folders straight from the Dropbox folder itself, and not the Quick Action menu in Explorer? Do you still experience this issue on any file and folder?
If it only occurs in certain locations, are they in a team folder, shared folder, or read-only folder?

I recently upgraded from Ubuntu LTS 18.04 to LTS 20.04
Right click Dropbox menu always worked fine for me on 18.04
Somewhat random on 20.04. Sometimes right clicking gives the correct menu items, while most times it does not.
I have found that if I do one of the available right click menu items, ie Rename (but cancel without renaming), look at properties, copy, etc., when I retry the right click, often (but not always) the menu will now be showing the expected Dropbox related items and I can get my link. Annoying work around but slightly better than using the website.
This effect is typically temporary as moments later right clicking the tested file will give the Dropbox-less menu again.

The dropbox options not appearing randomly is also happening to me. Literally exactly as BPTSA Mike described except I am on an A. The fix Crash MCGee supplied does not work for me. Random for when it works and when it doesn't
