Seeing iPhone photos by date as I upload

I just had a forced Dropbox app update on my iPhone.  In the old version, when uploading images from Photos to Dropbox, the app did the perfect thing for me, it organized the photos by date, and placed a "Select All" button by each group.  Almost always, I'd select all photos for a date (one button), and upload to the folder I want it in, and name it the way I want it named.  Perfect.

in the new app, that functionality appears gone.  They are not grouped by date, there is no visual indicator of date, and in fact, no information at all, as I scroll, about what date the images I'm looking at are from.

I'm posting in the hope that someone will correct me, and show me how to access the original functionality.  I take hundreds of photos every month for work.  Without this functionality, I will have to select them one by one to upload.  (PS--I want to choose which photos are uploaded, not cede that to Dropbox, to upload everything.)

To be clear, I am NOT talking about organizing by date AFTER they are in Dropbox.  I am talking about seeing them organized by date AS I choose them from my iPhone photos.

Hi there Cliff Z. - thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you please clarify your device's exact OS version and the version of the Dropbox mobile app?

Also, are you manually uploading your files or are you using the automatic camera uploads feature?

Could you maybe send us a screenshot of what's troubling you so that we can have a visual as well?

    Thanks!
