The Requested Operation Couldn’t Be Completed error - Dragging & Dropping into Files app on iPad
Dragging and dropping error using the stock files app on iPad OS (13 latest) with the latest version of Dropbox installed. Each time I try to drag and drop a file using the files app I'm greeted with an error message: The requested operation couldn't be completed because the feature is not supported. Any ideas to fix it? Or is it just another Dropbox issue that won't ever get addressed like the missing favourites bug? Note, dragging and dropping works flawlessly using Google Drive, One Drive, iCloud etc. I've tried removing and redownloaded Dropbox etc.
How can I sync folders in the Dropbox mobile app on iOS?
Device Iphone 13 mini Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Dropbox App Version (if using the app) newest app Syncing Status Question or Issue I tried to scroll from top to bottom screen within the app, but nothing happens. The app does not refresh at all, in the app settings refreshing on background is active, also mobile date is on. Can some figure this out with me? I have the basic plan, but storage capacity is not full. The folder I want to refresh is shared with me.
New files from camera uploads not showing in the Photos tab in iOS 26 (17promax)
Device iPhone 17 pro max Operating System/Browser (if using the web) iOS 26 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 444.2.2 Question or Issue Moving to a new iPhone and installed dropbox app. However, camera uploads is very buggy. It will upload the photos/videos, but the display will not show any new photos added. New items can be found in camera upload folder, but not in the "Photos" tab on the app as it will not fresh that at all. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and sometimes get the error message that the camera uploads folder doesn't exist and will be created on next upload. But the folder is there and new images are added.
Questions about Dropbox vs OneDrive
I have a Microsoft Surface, windows 11, iphone and ipad. I've had Dropbox for many, many years since the first computer person set it up. I still have it and am paying for it. My new computer person has set me up for everything to go into OneDrive. Are they backing up the same information? What happens to the data in Dropbox if I cancel it? Will it all be in OneDrive? My pictures on my iphone are automatically uploading to dropbox, but my videos aren't even though I have "upload videos" turned on. I've successfully uploaded smaller videos about 2 min 15 sec, but when I try to upload a 3.5 min video, it tells me "Can't upload file. There was a problem uploading [file name]. Please try again." I'm connected to wifi. Is there any other way for me to get it from my phone to dropbox on my computer?
I can't save my receipts as PDFs to the iOS mobile app, only as a URL.
I like to save my receipts on iPhone for example from a receipt from Square that opens up in Safari. Previously I would be able to choose "Save to Dropbox" and it would save a PDF of the receipt. But now Dropbox only gives the option to save a ".url" which just saves a url link to the receipt on Dropbox. Deleted and Reinstalled Dropbox App. Didn't fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? iPhone 12 - iOS 18.7 / Dropbox App 448.2.2
