Share link not working for the recipients, view only copy link. Never had this issue before.
I Share links roughly Once a month, rarely more, but have done so for about a year or so now and have never had an issue. This week the link I sent out came back with an issue. When I retried it, the recipients are saying it still isn't working.
Unfortunately, I can't see what's not working, but I need this to be rectified as this could highly affect our projects.

When I share a folder via a link, others cannot access it. They receive "Error 404" or "That didn't work for some reason" messages from Dropbox. This method was working fine just yesterday. Please help.

I am having this same issue. There is no reasoning as to why this is happening when a link is clicked.

Hi agilmore, welcome to our Community!
How long has this been happening for? Are you able to share any content in your Dropbox account?
It sounds like your sharing abilities have been temporarily banned. Could you check your email address, for any Dropbox related emails there?
Let me know more!

I have been temporarily suspended for creating too much traffic? This is my first suspension and it is not lifting it when I click the link it provides.

You can use the link in an Incognito or private browsing session (or just sign out of the Dropbox website and these forums), and you'll see what everyone else sees.

i don't know why it isn't working. I can tell you that I upload files into a folder. I then create a copy link for viewing. Then I share the link. It always works.
This time it is not working. They can not open the link.

Hey KBettmann, sorry to jump in, but can you clarify if they're getting a specific error or if the links are just not responding at all?

I don't know what message they're getting. Unfortunately, it is outside agencies that I am sending them to.

Thank you! That never even crossed my mind!
