Share link not working for the recipients, view only copy link. Never had this issue before.

I Share links roughly Once a month, rarely more, but have done so for about a year or so now and have never had an issue. This week the link I sent out came back with an issue. When I retried it, the recipients are saying it still isn't working.

Unfortunately, I can't see what's not working, but I need this to be rectified as this could highly affect our projects.

    Did you give Rich's suggestion a go to see what people are seeing when accessing your shared links KBettmann

    I wasn't able to access it that way. When I try to do it that way, it must be something the way things are setup with our network at work, it's automatically going to my account, or I have no issue seeing it, so I don't know what the problem is.... Why is there not one person who can directly email me and look into what I am referring to? I have to come into the community to ask for help, but I can't send links out to the community, and I can't see the errors... catch22.

    If you're using an incognito window of your web browser you shouldn't be logged into a Dropbox account already KBettmann 

     

    Can you give it a go and let us know the results?

    I was able to go on as a guest and use the copy link, it works for me. But this was emailed to a dozen different people and all of them were unable to access it, and this is the only time this has ever happened, so I don't know what the issue could be.

    Are they still having issues with accessing your shared links KBettmann ?

     

    If so, a screenshot of what they get on their end would be much appreciated.

    They are unable to open this one specific link. I have since had to print paper copies and pay to ship them out. I am not able to get a screenshot from the outside municipalities for their error messages.

    Have you tried deleting the shared link and re-creating it anew KBettmann?

     

    Maybe that will do the trick.
