Shared link permissions settings not working

Hi, I need your help - I have created a shared folder and added all the restrictions possible for a can view option including password protected, only people invited can view, and download disabled. ...

I don’t understand even if I shared the folder. I chose options on view option and added restrictions like password and disabled downloads. I don’t understand why this isn’t applied.

    Hi orgo5555, as Rich stated, it's possible you created a shared folder, which can be added to a user's Dropbox account when you invite their email.

     

    A shared link to a folder, however, allows you to set those permissions.
