Shared link to folder from Quickbase channel takes me to empty folder

I am using the Quickbase Dropbox channel to create a folder and upload files to that folder.  I then get the Share URL using the Quickbase Dropbox channel and save it in a Quickbase table.  I can see the folder and its files when I log into my Dropbox account.  But when I use the Share URL in my browser, I get a screen showing the folder name but that it is empty.  I need to see the files also.

  • I just found my problem in trying to create a simple example which of course worked fine.  Then I reviewed the pipelines I am actually using in my app.  Turns out the one that creates the folder and saves the url was connected to one dropbox account and the pipeline that uploads the files was connected to another.  So user error!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Hey kellison3205 welcome to our Community!

Would you mind walking me through the steps you follow on your end in order to create the shared link?

If you have a step-by-step screenshot that'd also be great, in order for me to get the visual.

I'd also love to see the link's structure too.

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

We're not live yet. Still in design & prototype phase. We'll be using Fastfield and Quickbase. Our techs will take photos & videos in the field via a Fastfield form. A Quickbase pipeline will be triggered when the form is submitted. It will use the Dropbox channel to create a share url to save in a Quickbase table & will upload the media. The pipeline will also dispatch a form to the manager which includes the Dropbox link & other info. We will also use Twilio to send a text to the manager to let him know the form has been submitted by the tech.
