Shared links have a prompts on the site
I have uploaded a video to Dropbox and need to create a working share link.
The video is set to "anyone with the link can view."
The link isn't opening correctly. There is a pop-up over the video instructing viewers to log on or get an account.

Hi Afwade, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
This sounds like the normal prompt on the Dropbox site to create an account.
This is an optional step and people can exit that prompt to view the link.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Is this new? The last link I created for the same purpose was a couple of months ago. It plays without the login request in a window, not a web page. - Jay3 years ago

The prompts have been around for a while, however, it should be possible to exit the prompt in order to view the shared link.

Thanks Jay,
I made a loom so you can see exactly what I'm doing and maybe that will help see where things are going wrong.

Hey Afwade, I'm afraid that for security reasons we can't access your link.
Is there a chance to send us a series of screenshots, showing the steps you're following?

See this thread for the discussion.
