Thanks for posting on our forum, urz987

For how long has your Dropbox app been stuck syncing 48 files on your computer?

Besides that, I’d also like you to right-click on your local Dropbox folder, go to “Get info” and send me a screenshot of the next window you’ll see. I just want to make sure that the Dropbox folder doesn’t contain more than 300k files, which can create performance issues.

Finally, what’s the current app version that your Dropbox app is running?

Let me know what you find.

This just happened to me. In my case it seemed like one of the files (or folders) in DB was "stuck." [likely illegal file name or complex hidden structure] I fixed it by using Selective Sync- I unsynched everything in Selective Sync on the stalled machine and then synced folder by folder (i.e. by adding the folder to the selective sync checklist), which went very fast, and found the offending folder and in it the bad file, deleted the file on another machine. All good.
