It means only you have access to the files. You haven't shared them with anyone.

If you upload images to Dropbox and it reads "Only You," it implies the files are set to be private and only you may access them. You can choose the privacy and sharing options for your files and folders in Dropbox.

Files uploaded to Dropbox are normally private by default, which means that only the account owner (you) may access them. By doing this, you can be confident that your files are safe and won't be shared without your specific permission.

When uploading images, if you get the "Only You" message, it means that the files are set to be private and won't be shared with anyone else unless you change the sharing settings or specifically share the files with particular people.

Change it to what? If you share the files with someone that column will update to show the number of people that have access.

        Hey debbru!

Can you first let us know what you'd like to do?

Do you want to share your files with edit permission, so that the people accessing them can also edit/delete them?

Or do you want to give them view-only permission?

With view-only, they'll only be able to view the files and download them, but not edit/delete the original ones.
