"We’ve interrupted your sharing activity" error
Hello all,
I tried to share a folder like I always do and I received this message- We’ve interrupted your sharing activity. For details or to contact support, read our help center article.
Everything seems fine on my end. Plenty of room in my dropbox
Have cleared any possible files that might be misinterpreted as bad once - though i have them forever
Bandwith normal
The files are the same ones that have been there for months
I really need to share these for work.
Can you please help!
Hmm, I see what you mean. In general, deleting the file in question may not immediately resolve the issue, unfortunately.
Out of curiosity, can you open an incognito window on your web browser and log in to Dropbox from there? Are you able to share your files this way, or do you still receive an error?

Hi Hannah. Thank you for your reply. I have indeed read the article. Since I haven’t received any email from Dropbox neither in my inbox nor in my junk mail I can’t seem to pinpoint the problem.

I did have a problem with a specific file which I promptly deleted. However I can’t share the rest of my files.

Hey Ganzy! If this is the first time you’re facing this sort of issue, then it should take about 24h for your sharing ability to resume.

Hi Nancy. Indeed this is the first time I’m facing this issue. Never before have I had this problem. However I’ve been having this issue since Saturday.

The fact is that I don’t know what the issue is. I’ve simply assumed it was the file that I’ve deleted. But I haven’t received any sort of communication from Dropbox.

Hi Nancy. I tried using the incognito window and Bam it worked. I could share my files. I went back and tried with the normal window and it worked too. It looks like the problem is sorted. Thank you so much for your time and effort. Cheers.
