Where does Dropbox inform potential users of unsupported file types

I am a fairly new Dropbox user and thus far very satisfied until I tried to upload certain file types developed by Google.  Dropbox would not allow them to be uploaded claiming they are not supported...

    Thanks for the update, this is the case if you're adding files directly from Google docs, since they won't be supported on Dropbox.

"File type not supported

Couldn't download file. Please try opening in another app"
(Purple dartboard, single dart)

Have note that
Share
Send copy of file
then save to device appears to work.

Hey Andyjenk2 , sorry to jump in here, but could you maybe send us a screenshot of the exact error you and your collaborator are getting so that we can have a visual  too?

 

If you could clarify your device's OS as well, I'd appreciate it.

        Hi Andyjenk2 , just checking to see if you tried a different browser on your end. 

         

        You should be able to click the camera-like icon when responding back to us, and attach your screenshot that way.
