Windows 11 new computer - how can I sync my Desktop and other folders?

New computer with WIN 11, one thing right away is that WIN 11 does not allow you to look at files evidently unless you are in the User directory. My question is - when I open desktop app preferences, and select 'Selective Sync, it only shows the older files already in the account from my last computer. How do I selectively sync so I am able to sync my Desktop and other folders?

    Awesome, thanks for explaining mebrooks!

I also appreciate the screenshot. Now, to get an overview and side-by-side view, can you also send me a screenshot of the newer content you see when accessing your Dropbox folder?

    In file explorer or online?

And there are no new folders. I have reported that there are no files from the new computer in dropbox other than the ones I put there manually in the previous computer's desktop sync file. I have no sync or backup automated because I don't want the backup feature, I want the sync feature.
