Can I back up online-only files to an external drive?

Hi.  I might be overly paranoid, but I'm trying to backup my Dropbox files to an external hard drive. It's easy to do so with the files that are available offline, but I'm not sure how to do it with ...

There isnt a way to do this without downloading them locally I'm afraid.
