Error space limit reached but there's still space available
I like to use dropbox to back up my photos from my iPhone. I have a folder storage limit of 5.25 GB. Recently it's failed to upload photos if the amount exceeded 3 or 4 GB. Made sense at first, getting close to that 5.25 limit. But now it won't import even small numbers of photos (1GB or less) , I get error messages saying "Importing these photos would fill up all your Dropbox space. Failed to import..." and direct me to upgrade and get more space, but I currently only use 81.5 MB out of that 5.25 GB limit. I've tried restarting my computer, restarting dropbox, nothing has fixed it.
Any suggestions?

Hey there nm_14, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you send us a screenshot of the app's exact status as shown in your system tray/menu bar so that we can have a visual too?
Also, can you clarify if you're using the automatic camera uploads feature or if you're manually uploading your photos to your Dropbox account?
Thanks so much!

I'm not sure what you mean by status in the menu bar but I took a screenshot of what it shows on the account section with the space percentage.
Yes it automatically uploads the photos, I took a screenshot of that too.

The status should be visible in your menu bar/system tray. Could you hover your mouse over the Dropbox icon there and let me know what it reads nm_14?

Sorry for jumping in, nm_14.
Just to clarify, are you receiving this error message if you try to upload small files to your account from all platforms (website/mobile app/desktop app)?
Can you please go here and send me a screenshot of what you see on your Plan page?

I haven't tried to upload files from the web or mobile app. Just from my computer.
Plan page looks like this:

Hi nm_14, do you have enough free space on your phone for the uploads to complete successfully?
Have you tried clearing the Dropbox mobile app cache?
