Update: I removed the Downloads folder from my Dropbox Backup and AirDrop is working again. Not ideal for obvious reasons, but at least the functionality is there again.

Hey idontknowhatimdoing, sorry for jumping in.
If youâd like to make your files available offline once more, you can directly right click on them, and there should be the relevant option to do so via the dropdown menu.

Hi Nancy,
Yes, I can see that option. However, the chances of making this change to every online-only file is very slim. Is there a setting to make this change on a system level?

If youâd like all of your Dropbox files to be available offline, you can right click on the local Dropbox folder directly and select the relevant option.
The desktop app should then start downloading your files.
