My account falsely tells me that I have no storage space.

When I try and access a Dropbox shared with me by my employer, dropbox says that I am out of space and cannot access the dropbox. However, it says that my free account does still have 2GB of space. F...

Hello,

 

My employer has tried to send me the link as view only and it still will not allow me to view the dropbox?

What is it saying when you try?

    Its saying the exact same thing, that i have no storage available for the folder. but i'm looking at their screen when they send me the link and they're clearly changing it to "view only" from edit.

      Can you confirm that they're using these steps, when trying to create a view-only shared link and share it with you? 

       

      If these are indeed the steps they're following, then would you mind checking your Sharing tab online, and let me know if the folder is located under Folders?
