Hi,
So it appears that there can be backups that don't show up in your backups page, but are actually still there taking up room. Dropbox support was able to identify it for me and send me a link that would get me to it directly. If you've initiated a backup of your PC that never finished you might have the same issue i did. If you go to the link posted below, and find there are directories there with stuff in them that might be the source of your issues. Once i removed them from dropbox online, my dropbox storage started was I actually had backed up an everything sorted itself. Hope this helps, if not escalating it with dropbox after the contact you will likely have them see a folder that you can't, which they can link you to directly.

Hey there, Rui Bandeira, let's jump right into this!
As a first step, can you check your plan page, and let me know what it reports there? Did you also remove any shared folders, that could potentially be taking up space on your account?
Or perhaps you have backup enabled. Can you check all three, and let me know what you see there?
Let me know more!

Hi Megan
On the Plan page i see im back on the Basica plan with 14.5Gb and it also says im using 156GB 😮
On the Shared folders i do have some shared folders but i cant delet them, or remove myself from the shares, but never the less i dont think that the share folders make 156Gb of files- Jay3 years ago

Hi Rui Bandeira, it sounds like you might have a Dropbox Backup enabled, have you tried checking this page like my colleague suggested?
