out of space even after deleting files / folders
After deleting folders my storage space has not changed. This seems like a permanent issue on this forum and Dropbox appears to be intentionally making it hard to remove folders so people are forced...

It isnt.
Theres two reasons why - one you are on a Team and that take a few hours to update or two you haven't actually deleted everything back you have Backups set: www.dropbox.com/backups.

It's a folder that's not mine was shared with many other individuals, all outside of my team
