Receiving Low Storage message even though I'm part of a Team with a Business Account
Hello;
I'm part of a Team which uses a Business Account (3T of Storage); but am receiving a message indicating that I'm approaching my Storage Limit.
I can't find any clarifying documen...

If you are receiving that message my guess is you are not actually a part of the Team and are instead just using shared folders. You can easily see that by going to www.dropbox.com/account/plan. If you are on Basic then you are a free user and so not in a team.
Shared folders use up the quota of everybody in them. The only exception to that is if you are using a paid for business licence - i.e. somebody is paying for your account rather than just using shares to a free account.
Thank you for your Reply … I still am unclear … We, on the Team, read the description of the Owner's Business Account as: Reach out to Team members, and everyone to whom you've given Access will Share all of the Storage space in the Business Account. Your response seems to indicate otherwise.
What are the distinctions re: "Team" / "Shared" / etc. ..?

Thank you very much Rich! I'm closer to understanding!
So, upon closer examination, I see that the Company / Team Leader has a DropBox Plus Account (which I believe has been deprecated and is no longer a choice), and the Leader is merely Sharing Folders.
I have Removed myself from Share Access to Project Folders that we are no longer actively engaged in; so I have "bought" back pretty much all of my available storage space.
I think that I should better acquaint myself with the intricacies of DropBox so that I don't bother people with questions like this in the future.
