Sharing large folder with new user, they can't join it without upgrading their account

Thank you for your answer, they will be able to see the folder, but will they be able to contribute to it as well?

Hi Aquarius16, the shared link to a folder is read-only, so they can't edit or add files to that folder.

If you need users to upload files to your Dropbox account, and they don't have the quota to add a shared folder, you can create a file request instead so that you can receive files from them.
