Space usage is incorrect
Привет всем!
Нужна помощь. В моем дропбоксе уже давно занято по факту 50 мб. Но в аккаунте написано, что занято 3.15 ГБ. Как восстановить справедливость?)

Hi all!
Help is needed. In fact, 50 mb have already been occupied in my dropbox for a long time. But the account says that 3.15 GB is used. How to restore?

Возможно, вы когда-нибудь включали нашу функцию резервного копирования?
Видите ли вы какие-либо резервные копии, занимающие ваше место здесь?
Дайте мне знать, что вы найдете.

Hey AleksandrMoskalev, thanks for joining our Community!
Did you perhaps enable our backup feature at any point?
Do you see any backups taking up your space here?
Let me know what you find.

On my local Disk all the Dropbox Files take 370MB of Space. While Dropbox calculates my used Disk Space as 6.6GB.
Check your Backups page.

Thanks! It seems that something was backed up there... after deletion it's all back to normal

Hi Semyon_SPB and fo2_lejardinhotels, I hope you’re both doing well.
Semyon_SPB, can you please have a look at your Backups page, and let me know if you see any files being backed up there?
fo2_lejardinhotels, can you send me a screenshot of what you see on your Plan page instead?

Also have the same error. Dropbox says I am using 2,5GB, when I can find just 499MB, as can be seen in the screen shot below. I already checked my backups, and there is none there.

Hey dino_batista, sorry to hear about this.
Can you please clarify what's shown in your plan tab in regards to your quota?
Do you see any files or folders taking up space on your backups page online perhaps?
As for the content of your Dropbox folder, have you ensured that you don't have any selectively un-synced folders?
Keep us posted!

Hello Walter, thank you for your response. Please find below my plan tab:
Note it is much larger than when I check all the files I have stored.
And there is nothing in my backups page as well:
All my files in the Dropbox folder are selected to be synced (the green circle with a white thick in the middle, right?)
It seems a bug in the sytem...

Could you maybe navigate to this page and let me know if you find anything there dino_batista?

Nancy, thanks. My storage space problem was solved after I found out that Dropbox saves backups of my documents. I just switched off Backups and its ok with free space now.

Great!! Thank you, Walter! It worked! There was a lot of trash in that backup page you sugested. I deleted it all and now I have plenty of space. Don't know how to access the page unless by clicking the link you sent, but it is ok! Thanks again

Hi Nancy,
Here is our Plan page screen shot, it shows we used 4.1GB. However as we see here our folders only count up to a bit more than 1GB. Can you please help us check the reason why?
