Your account is out of storage& quota error received for shared recipient.
I have used only a small portion of space. When I send a link to a recipient, they receive an error "Your account is out of space" when clicking on the link to the folder. I bcc myself and I do NOT get this message when I receive the link in the email. Why is a recipient of a shared link getting this error message? Thank you for any help. I am desperate to get the photos to the recipient.

Shared folders use up the quota of everybody involved. So, your folder takes up their space if its shared.
If they dont need to edit it just send a read only link.
- annesuttonphotoExplorer | Level 3Thank you for the response. However I did send the link as a “read only” link as they do not need to edit, simply view and download to their personal drive. Any further ideas? Again thank you!

Hey annesuttonphoto, thanks for taking the time to post here!
Some shared links can also have "can edit" permissions. Would you be able to double check, and also have a look at this Help Center article, just to rule out the possibility of you using such a link?
If I were you, I'd try to re-create the link from scratch, and send it to the user again with viewing permissions.
I'm saying that, because it indeed sounds like you either accidentally shared the folder, or shared a link with editing permissions.
Feel free to update me on the results!
