AirDrop broken on MacOS Ventura
I'm using MacOS Ventura and I can't receive files via AirDrop anymore.
My Downloads folder is inside my Dropbox as I'm using Dropbox Backup, so it is all inside the Cloud Library now. The Spotlight Search is broken and now also I can't receive airdropped files anymore. They are sending but afterwards they are just nowhere to be found on the hard-drive. It's quite the mess.
@DropboxTeam: It would be highly appreciated if you can expedite looking into resolving the issues on Ventura!
You'll need to access the preferences in the desktop app, click the Backup tab, and then Manage Backup. From there you can remove the Downloads folder from the backup.

Hi all, could you please confirm that you're still having this issue so that we can reach out via email to have a further look internally?
- Michelle313 years agoHelpful | Level 6After deleting Dropbox and reinstalling my MAC software then reinstalling DB again I have not upgraded my Dropbox software due to the issue with airdrop. From all the complaints it sounds like it’s still an issue. I’ve been waiting for DB to fix this before upgrading the software again. So yes, if DB hasn’t done anything to fix it then it’s still broken.

Yes. 100% still broken. Latest software for macOS and Dropbox build v167.4.4719.
Confirmed Intel and M Series are still broken. Still stuck transferring over Lightning>USB-C via photos for iPhone.
Also 100% unamused. - bearo3 years agoNew member | Level 2
Definitely still broken. I love dropbox, but it should come with a disclaimer that it moves files around, and that airdrop doesn't work.
Workflow that works awesome with the Apple ecosystem now broken. No doubt having files backup is great, but I feel my files are disorganised for I can't find them!

Hi @Megan,
I was in touch with Violet at DB earlier this month and she acknowledged this is a none issue and engineers are working on it.
That was Feb 2. Has there been anything substantively done since then?
