Android shortcut directly to a file

On the Android phone I can create a home screen shortcut to a folder.

However, I would prefer to create a shortcut to a specific file which

would be a Dropbox Paper file.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hi cjsmall, thanks for messaging the Community!

Are you referring to a shortcut made to a folder available on your Dropbox account?

Currently, there isn't a method to make a shortcut to any specific file on your account.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

    Thanks for the reply.

This would be a good addition.  You can create shortcuts directly to individual Docs on Google Drive for example.
