2 years agoHI WreckItTim1, could you try marking that file with the ignored tag to see if this helps?

It is an autogenerated file from visual studio created whenever its used, with a random hash name, so that is not a valid solution. Which is why I made the parent folder an ignore, so that anything which gets dynamically added into that folder should also be ignored.

Hi
I got the exact same problem. I ignored every folder from ".vs" and down. Any newly created files will still end in deadlock as Dropbox insist on syncing them. This again usually ends in that I have to set Dropbox on sync to be able to work normally. Its not a good solution. An ignored folder should stay ignored.Dropbox version: 299.4.7134.
OS: Latest Windows 11.
VS: Latest 2022.
This is not something that started now, but I am finally getting tired of workaround so I tried to ignore folders and was rather surprised it was not working. I will try to reconfigure VS, but it should still not be like this.
