Dropbox backup does not recognize my 2nd and 3rd internal hard drives.

I am trying to backup some folders from my two data hard drives installed internally on my Windows 11 computer.

Dropbox isn't allowing me to choose additional hard drives within my computer, only the HDD which is used for installed programs only, no data such as documents, pictures, music, videos, project data, etc.  (that choice box is grayed out)

This makes backing up the folders that regularly need to be backed up impossible and makes the backup feature useless for me.

Any tips on solving this mystery?

Hey davedavid, thanks for reaching out to us.

This is actually expected behavior for the Backup feature.

You can only backup folders from the drive that the Dropbox application is installed on. Your other drives can't be included in the backup.

I will, however, pass your feedback along to our team.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hard to believe, I know, but dropbox has chosen to ignore the fact that many setups now include more than one local drive.
Used to be possible with Symlinks, but Dropbox has somehow decided to end symlink sync as well.

I myself got a year-long plan before realizing it, and ended up binning the account...

You'd think they would at least allow 2 different accounts to run on the same computer, but you can't even pay them more for the privilege of a functioning setup.
