DropBox is stuck at the “Set Up Dropbox” screen when installing

After installing and Sign-In the Dropbox desktop app, the program gets stuck in the “Set Up Dropbox” screen. It's on my Macbook (Late 2009 13.3" OS 10.13.3).

I have installed and signed in several times but it always gets stuck there. How can I fix this?

See attached screenshots:

  • Hi,

Oh my, the mistake i've done was just stupid)
When the installation offered me to upgrade plan or sign out of paid services, i pressed cancel instead of "sign out paid services". I think you guys need to close window after that, because it just stacks on the Setup screen.

    Thank you anyway!)

No worries burunduk - I'm glad to hear it's sorted now.
