This is likely a result of outdated root certificates in the SDK version that you're using. You can read more about it here and here. You'll need to update to the latest SDK version.

This was originally announced 18 months ago, and the rollout has already occurred. I don't think Dropbox would be able to give you a window to update your app. That would require them to roll back the work they've already done which would affect everyone using the API.

My main challenge is manually cycling all my clients to update their versions with current sdk7.0.0

Are you creating an app using the Dropbox API, or the normal Dropbox desktop application?

Hi engirah, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify what OS you're currently using, and what version of the Dropbox desktop application was running on your machine?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
