Dropbox throws a javascript error

I started getting a JS error and then the Dropbox stops; cannot re start it. My system is Mac OS 10.12.6. I did advanced reinstall.

  • Hi hakkiocal, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It looks like you're running Mac OS 10.12, which is no longer supported for the Dropbox desktop application.

In order to continue using the app, you'll need to upgrade the OS to a newer version.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi clsaunde1066, let's jump right into this!

Can you clarify if this happens when you start the app, or during a different process?

Also, which version of Dropbox do you use on your end? You should be able to find this, by hovering your mouse over the little Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi on the menu bar.

    Keep me posted!
