Finder context menu missing for Dropbox files on macOS
Hi everyone — after migrating from an iMac to a Mac mini 2024 (M4, 32GB), Dropbox sync works but Finder integration is gone. I first saw this on macOS Sequoia 15.5 and I’ve since updated to macOS Tah...

I'm having the same issue here - BOTH the context sensitive Finder menus AND the Finder icons are missing. I've done the advanced Reinstall, that worked fine, also disabled/re-enabled the various Extensions, reboots galore, and still no love. I am on macOS 15.7.3 and would like to remain there so can this be made to work or the only "recommended" solution is to update to 26.2? Also in following the Advanced Reinstall instructions (did just now/today), the resulting version now installed is: 240.4.8493. I should add that I also opted OUT of using File Provider during the reinstall to keep things simple and because I really don't like a few of the limitations/changes described in the help article about the differences. Interestingly, the program was reporting I wasn't eligible for using File Provider (which was fine), but after the reinstall and opting OUT, it now IS offering me to do the update.... which again I would prefer not to do, if possible. Please advise on all above, and thanks.

9 hours agoHi Mitchell H., I was wondering if you’re still having an issue with the context menu/syncing icons on your macOS device.
If you are, and want us to look into this, please make sure to answer Walter’s questions above.
Thanks!
