Free 1 GB extra storage offer to install Dropbox Passwords

I got an offer of 1 GB extra storage if I installed Dropbox Passwords. I did so, but no extra storage. Was it a hoax?

    Hello!

    Today I loged in to my Dropbox account and received a pop up notification in browser to install DropBox Password for 1 extra Gig of storage. I confirmed the proposal. After installing the Firefox extension I haven't received the extra 1 gig as was promissed.

    Hi there, I have also received this offer and signed up for Passwords, but the additional space was not credited to my account. Can someone please look into this?
