Free 1 GB extra storage offer to install Dropbox Passwords
I got an offer of 1 GB extra storage if I installed Dropbox Passwords. I did so, but no extra storage. Was it a hoax?

For the record the promised extra Gig was finally credited to my account.

Hi, I created a profile just for this question. I got the offer a while back when I was logged in to the web portal. Installed passwords and had it ever since. I was also not credited the 1 G of storage space :(. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
I have the same problem that the other members above. Dropbox password is running on my firefox browser but no giga added on my account.

I eventually got the extra storage, but only after notifiying Dropbox and waiting, as I recall, for several weeks.

Apologies, not sure if replying to your message is the way to add to this tread. However, the help section was unable to provide any instructions on how to add a comment to an existing thread.
Last night (my time), while accessing Dropbox on the Edge browser, a window popped up offering 1GB of additional storage if I downloaded Dropbox's Password app.
I have downloaded and installed the extension into the browser. It has been 10 hours since the install, yet no additional storage has been added.
As it was a pop-up, there is no email or screenshot to provide proof of the offer. The only thing I can attach is confirmation that I have connected to a new app as below.
I have reviewed many of the previous comments and some have stated the "Get Started" section must be completed. I did this back in 2013.
Please advise if/when the additional storage will be provided.
Thanks

Megan Thanks for sending the email. I have responded to confirm identity as requested.
I'd like to advise that after logging into Dropbox this afternoon, there was a floating message confirming the additional 1GB of storage with the option to accept now or later.
I have accepted and the extra storage is now available.
Thank you for resolving this quickly.
