Getting an error that Dropbox already exists under ~/Library/CloudStorage/, while updating to FP
When updateing dropbox to use macOS filing API (https://help.dropbox.com/ko-kr/installs/macos-support-for-expected-changes)
update process keeps failing when the folder name 'Dropbox' is already exist on "/Users/Username/Library/CloudStorage/"
I got to success to update after deleting existing folder.
I hope the developers know this issue and report this for the people with same problem

Hi Starslikewind, and thanks for posting on our forum!
If the Dropbox folder already existed in that filepath, is it possible that you had already installed the Dropbox update for macOS on File Provider?
Can you clarify what’s the syncing status of your Dropbox app now, and also send me a screenshot of what you see under the Sync tab of your app’s preferences?
Let me know when you’re ready.

I think the folder existed because I did migration from old Mac to new one. I cannot recall exact setup for migration, I might not migrate all apps including Dropbox app.
And I was able to updated the app after deleting the existing folder at file path below, from sync tap is showing proper path at this moment.- Nancy

Thanks for clarifying, Starslikewind! It sounds like everything’s in order now and your Dropbox folder is indeed saved in the correct location.
If you need something else though, don’t hesitate to give me a ping.
