My dropbox Windows app keeps syncing until it gets to the storage limit. I then try to delete some unused files in the unwanted syncing folder and since that folder is "my PC" with files keeping in and out, Dropbox keeps syncing and I keep deleting again and again.

It seems that the my PC Documents folder has appeared in my Dropbox account causing ALL my files to be visible in Dropbox instead of those I choose to be visible. The Backup checkbox is selected because Carbonite uses it to identify the folder for backup purposes. Is there a way to turn off the mirroring of my Documents folder without deselecting "Backup"?

I'm not entirely sure how this third party service is interacting with Dropbox, however, the only way to turn off our backup feature, is to follow the steps in this article.
I hope this helps.
