I can no longer access Dropbox through Finder on macOS Sequoia 15.0.1.
Did this update by Apple break dropbox? Can no longer access through the finder.

Hi bartread - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please double check the version of the app that you're using? I'm asking because we're currently on either 212.3.5724 which is the Beta one, or the 211.4.6008 which is our stable version.
Also, can you take a look at the app's preferences and let us know your Dropbox folder's location as shown in the sync tab?
Did you try reinstalling the app since you first noticed this by the way?
Let us know and we'll take it from there!

I have tried re installing the dropbox app, turning on firewall ( it was off), removing apps from the spotlight and then re adding it, re starting the computer - NOTHING is working... so frustrating!!!
I'd like to share a screen shot - but the paperclip doesnt do anything.....ugh

Hi Kathy O, sorry to jump in. You can attach your screenshot here by clicking on the camera button, as shown below:

The paperclip should allow you to attach links to the forum and not images/screenshots.

I can see my folders and such in Finder, but trying to use Finder to search within a specific Dropbox folder, rather than just on "This Mac" no longer works. Sequoia 15.1.1. I am really reluctant to uninstall and reinstall because I keep everything in Dropbox so I can work from any device, and resyncing takes hours if not days.

I am having the same problem and it is costing me money. I can see all my client files on the desktop app, however, when I try to access the file I get the message "could not connect to Dropbox. Dropbox support is not helping. I have upgraded my account thinking this would help, it didn't. I am using OS 15.1.1

Hey Kennyboygolf, thanks for posting here!
Would you mind sending over your app version, please? You can find this by hovering your mouse over the little Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi.
If you have a screenshot of the error you mentioned, it's more than welcome in order for us to have a visual too.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

I am having similar trouble: "the application Dropbox cannot be found" . I fixed it before (can't remember how) on Sequoia 15.0.1. Now on 15.1.1. Getting sick of this. Here's the error code:

Sorry to hear about this, catharinet.
Is this what you see when you try to open the Dropbox folder in your Finder? Or if not, when are you getting this error?
Also, do you have a small Dropbox icon in your menu bar? And what do you see when you hover over it with your cursor?
